That's because every Certified Pre-Owned vehicle comes with an Extended New Car Bumper-to-Bumper Limited Warranty for 12 months/12,000-miles.2 Please keep in mind there are some exclusions. Some examples are: the warranty does not include tire damage or wear, damage due to bedliners, damage due to insufficient or improper maintenance, damage due to contaminated or poor-quality fuel and misuse of the vehicle such as driving over curbs, overloading, racing or other competition (proper vehicle use is discussed in the CPO Owner's Manual).

The specific criteria and type of inspection may vary slightly from brand to brand, but you can expect the following from a certified Chevrolet vehicle:

  • The vehicle is within six years of the current model year.
  • The vehicle has 75,000 miles or less on it.
  • It has passed a multi-point inspection.
  • Has a clean title
  • CPO vehicles come with extended warranties and/or limited powertrain warranties.
